Warning for duplicate sessions

Hi Jayden Conte, MSEd, BCBA, LBA - Can you clarify if you are looking to prevent one BT from starting multiple sessions for the same client? We have some options around this but I want to make sure I am fully understanding your request!

Jamie Mills Correct. There's been times where staff accidentally select "Start Session" instead of "Resume" which will create multiple sessions going at the same time (We are not using session mapping, so that may be why?)

Jayden Conte, MSEd, BCBA, LBA: We do have a privilege that can help with this! Under Settings - Organization - User Privileges, find the "Activities" section. One of the privileges is "Allow overlapping activities" and you will want that turned OFF to prevent this issue. If this is on, it allows for a user to have two separate activities overlapping with each other. This only applies to staff only activities or two activities with one client. Activities across separate clients won’t be affected.
This should help clean up some of those errors, since they will not be able to start a new session if they already have one running for that client!

Jayden Conte, MSEd, BCBA, LBA: no this will not. This only impacts 1 user from starting 2 sessions with the same client. It would not impact any other user starting sessions that that client, whether it is a regular session or a supervision session!
