Locking report templates to prevent data loss

Can a feature be developed so that once a report is completed and signed, it can be locked so no edits can be made to it? For example, if I go back to a client's initial treatment report after completing their progress report (meaning I made changes to the program and program data fields), the same changes are then reflected in the initial treatment report, which means I just lost the data. If a clinician fails to download the report before making any changes, our company would then have issues when/if we are audited. Additionally, as report templates are revised over the year, any changes made affect reports that were already completed (i.e. if a data field was deleted, the information that was on the report was now deleted).

When a report is published, it should automatically permanently save all dynamic fields as is, and not add any other changes that happen in the programs, so that it stays as it was written and signed, rather than keeping adding things in

Archived Reports shouldn't allow for any program changes

When updating a programs tag/status, it would be extremely beneficial for it not to update the programs in a report that's already been written and archived.

Auto save Treatment Plan to files

I have gotten the treatment plan template near ready to utilize but am realizing that even after signing the report if changes are made to anything autofilled it will modify the report. The solution is to download as a PDF when the treatment plan is done but I'm concerned that a treatment plan could be signed then dramatically altered. There should be a save button within the report where it is no longer editable.

I noticed that even though a report is published, if I added a new program, the report automatically includes this information on there. Can we add a feature to "lock" published reports?

Published reports no longer change

Once a report has been published all the information is saved and can no longer be changed unless reverted to a draft.
Ex: Currently data continues to update, new programs continue to be added to the report, and any information updated in the client profile will also change (ie assessment date, address, etc.)
Would like to see this information be saved and unchangeable once a report has been published.

The current design is very disruptive to day-to-day case oversight.
