Expanding on Forms

We currently use a separate platform for consent forms, which means we have to manually add all of our families into that system. It’s been tricky to navigate and adds an extra layer of administrative work for our team.
It would be incredibly helpful if Hi Rasmus expanded its form capabilities to include dynamic forms for consent signatures and additional intake paperwork. Being able to manage all of that directly within Hi Rasmus would streamline our processes significantly and reduce the need to move information between multiple platforms.

Hi Carlin Bigelow can you tell me a bit more about what you mean by "dynamic forms" - what specifically is missing from Hi Rasmus for you to be able to use our forms for consent paperwork? Any examples you have would be helpful!

Jenna Simard Hi Jenna! Thanks so much for the speedy reply.
We use a variety of consent forms, and our most dynamic one is likely our Coordination of Care form. I’ve been testing updates as Rasmus adds new features (which we really appreciate!), but I’m still running into a few challenges in getting it to function the way we need it to.
Here are a few examples:
- Introductory blurb visibility
At the beginning of our Coordination of Care form, we include a blurb that families need to read before they begin completing the form (similar to our other consent forms). However, I haven’t been able to find a way for them to view this blurb prior to starting the form itself.
They are able to see the blurb we include at the very end of the form, but we need them to review this information upfront so they fully understand what they are agreeing to before moving forward. (I’ve attached screenshots of what we currently see.)
- Assigning forms to caregivers
Right now, we’re only able to assign the form to employees, not caregivers. Ideally, we’d like the ability to assign the form directly to caregivers and have them receive an email notification prompting them to complete it.
It’s possible I’m missing a step, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to make this work. Since we send consent forms every six months following a new authorization period, having this streamlined is really important for our process.
Please let me know if you need any additional information - I’m more than happy to talk through it if that would be helpful!

Carlin Bigelow: Hi Carlin, what folks will generally do is put the text that a user needs to agree to in the "Hint" for the custom field they create on the form.
For parent form assignment: forms can be assigned to parents if they have an account in Hi Rasmus!

Jenna Simard Hi Jenna, got it! Appreciate the help with this. Is it possible for us to put a "." in the "Field Title"? It's telling me the label cannot contain dots, but it would be helpful if we could! Thanks so much again for your help.
