Filter Your Scheduler by Appointment Status

You can now add a Status filter in the Hi Rasmus Scheduler to focus on the appointments that need your attention today. π

What's new:
- β Status filter chipβ Add a Status filter from the Scheduler's existing filter menu, in both Overview and Schedule for.
- π Select what you want to seeβ Choose one or more statuses (Created, Draft, Scheduled, In progress, Pending notes, Pending review, Pending signatures, Completed, Canceled), and only those appointments stay visible.
- βοΈ Works with your Scheduling settingsβ If "Hide canceled appointments" is turned on in Scheduling Settings, Canceled isn't offered as a status and canceled appointments stay hidden.

Why it matters:
When every appointment shows at once, completed and canceled visits can crowd out the ones you actually need to act on. This filter lets you clear that noise and see just what matters right now β nothing is hidden for good, so removing the filter brings everything back.
One thing to know as you build filters: for an appointment linked to a session activity, the filter matches the status the calendar is showing rather than the appointment's own β so an appointment marked Scheduled whose linked activity sits at Pending notes is matched by Pending notes. This applies at clinics with no integration, or with an integration that allows scheduling. Elsewhere, the appointment's own status is used, so Pending notes, Pending review, and Pending signatures won't return results.

Enter Manual Sessions Privilege
Admins can now control who can enter manual sessions separately from who can edit past session data. Until now, the two came as a pair, so allowing someone to log a session after the fact also let them alter completed session records. They are independent now, and each role can be set the way your workflows need. π

What's new:
- π A new "Enter manual sessions" privilegeβ Controls whether a user can create a session for a past date and time. Find it in Organization > Settings > User Privileges, between "Edit session data" and "Delete sessions."
- π Independent of "Edit session data"β The two can be set in any combination, so a role can enter manual sessions without gaining access to edit completed ones.
- π The entry point hides when it's offβ Users without the privilege no longer see "Add Manual Session" anywhere it normally appears, including from an appointment.

On by default for every roleβ Including existing custom roles, so nothing changes for your organization until an admin turns it off.

Why it matters:
Teams that needed their technicians to log sessions after the fact had to turn on "Edit session data" to allow it, which also opened up editing completed session records. The two are separate now, so you can allow manual entry without giving up control of past data. Live session start, session note completion, and sending notes to your practice management system are not affected. Data imports are unchanged and keep their existing permissions.

See Client Birthdays Right on the Schedule

The Hi Rasmus Scheduler now shows you when an appointment falls on that client's birthday, so you don't need a separate calendar or spreadsheet to keep track. π

What's new:
- π Birthday icon on the appointmentβ A cake icon appears on the appointment when the appointment date is the client's birthday, in day, week, timeline, and month views, and in the appointment panel.
- π¬ Who it is, on hoverβ Hovering over the appointment adds the birthday as the last line of the tooltip it already shows.
- π Only clients you can already seeβ The icon appears only for clients you have access to, and no new information is added to the calendar.

Why it matters:
Birthdays have had to live in spreadsheets and personal calendars outside Hi Rasmus β disconnected from the schedule and easy to let lapse. Now the cue sits on the appointment itself. This is a staff-facing cue only: nothing is sent to clients or families, and a birthday with no appointment on the calendar that day doesn't surface anywhere.
